I only watch racing, no replays there. I quit MLB, too much one sided refs. They like you or they don't.
 
I suspect MLB added umpire reviews and challenges mostly because so many other sports were doing it. They have a problem though. Baseball is a relatively slow sport, especially for TV and they are trying to speed it up, somewhat. So, they had to have pretty strict limits on "non action" stoppages. Otherwise it would only slow the game down even more. That was a really bad call though. There's just no excuse for it with the umpire right on top of it.

What do you mean no replays?
 
They don't stop road races for a replay. Nascar might. Being a Grid/Pit official, no stopping. Our SCCA races are recorded in a book and witnessed by corner workers or staff. Reviewed after race on protest.
