This is my latest TR6 accessory.

Thanks to a tip from a fellow TR6 owner and neighbor, Steve H., who I was giving a ride to pick up his car at Erik's on Friday, I came across this stellar find over in the mountains west of Worcester, MA today.

My wife and I borrowed a friends pickup truck and headed over for a two hour ride and it was worth it.

Every molding and weatherstrip is in place and the brackets and front bolts are there as well. The glass is all perfect, but the headliner is torn, but that would get replaced anyhow. One little dent in the rear bottom molding, a tiny ding in the top at the rear from the inside out, BUT NO RUST ANYWHERE!!!.

This thing has been stored inside for a lot of years in a dusty, but warm and dry garage attic that is being converted to a spare room.

Paul, Congratulations on your new acquisition. I'll look forward to following your restoration efforts, as I have a 'basement find' of my own, in similar condition. Bob H.

Paul;

Good find. Hope you've got some paint left over from the recent job, so you can match it to the car.

Wow!!! I like it

Dave :winner1:

Oh yeah Dave, it will be yellow in the near future.

Bill,

I'm going bald already. Why would I want to rush it anymore???

A middle-aged couple in a Skye followed me and my wife today in the 6. At a red-light, they gave us the high sign. It was all worth it.

Hmmmm......

If I put some horizontal yellow stripes on it............

Congratulations, Paul. I am so happy for you. Sounds similar....jump
in the truck and drive right there. Really happy for you!

And to end your story, all you had to do was lug it out of the attic yourself and buy the previous owner lunch and it was yours??

Not quite Peter...............

I did have to help lug it down two flights of winding stairs and pretty much loaded it myself. The selling price was also quite a bit above lunch.

Even than lunch for two at Morton's in Chicago.

Ah well.....one can dream, yes?!

Triumph dreams, ah yes!

Driveways and garage floors without brown stains.....

Headlights that shine further than 50 feet at night.....

On high beam.....

Window adjustments that last longer than two weeks........

Sorry, I must have dozed off for a moment.
