Curious about the "1960 Tiger Sunbeam Alpine". Since they didn't start making Tigers until 1964, this might be an Alpine with a later Ford V8 installation (like mine).

I noticed that too. They might have ment to say 1960's Tiger if they are not sure of the year.

Why is it, this kinda thing is always thousands of miles from home? Oh well, I probably just saved a bundle because it's not around here. I guess I should be thankful!

Reminds me of a sheriff's auction I went to once. Picked up a decent 74 BMW 2002 with a great motor sporting twin DCOE Webers and BWA mags for $55, and a ratty 84 TVR 280i with a chevy 350 for $275. Still kicking myself for not buying the gorgeous 86 Jag for $600 and the cabinet full of big block chevy stuff. The guy who really scored bought 30 or so parts cars in the yard for $10. He had a flat bed tow truck. It took me several hours to get my cars out of the building and ready to load, and during that time, the tow truck guy removed several cars. After every trip to the crusher, he'd announce to everybody how much he got for the previous car. He must have been averaging $200 a car/truck/van at 2 to 3 an hour. Really started to tick me off.
