Could have been worse. I recall a case a few years back where they removed the healthy kidney instead of the one that didn't work.

Coincidence! Just this week, one of the members of my parish, a fifth-grade teacher, told me this: She was playing a game with her class one day by changing words up by adding "-ies" to the end of words. All went well until she told the class to hand in their "test-ies".

She never regained control of the class.
