BAD PING STYPE R 2003 NOW 2005 R MOTOR ERROR CODES

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Here's the deal- I blew my non reinforced cams 2003 stpype r at 50000 miles -- did a full motor swap and kept the origianl supercharger-got a 2005 4.2 with 10000 miles -- ran great and good to see the reinforced cams. about 1 month later i started getting a strange ping and rushed to check out bulletins... now Im getting a P1416 AND P1316 and accellartion is near gone --- plus the performance restriction indicator comes on... please help .. help help help

I assume I need a new catalytic converter? I already changed two of the coals and did a reset ... also seem to be getting a misfire in 2 and 6 ...

The performance restriction will come on cos the ECM has detected a fault,which in turn will put the car in limp home mode,significantly reducing performance.The P1316 code is a misfire code-probable causes to check are given as -Wiring,other trouble codes stored,MAP sensor,throttle pos.sensor,engine coolant temp sensor,intake air temp sensor,injectors,or the ecm.in the codes I have for the Stype there is no 1416 code.Try swapping the coils from 2 and 6 with others to see if the misfire is transferred,if not try swapping the plugs,eliminate the easy stuff first
