Bad luck Week, and new TV.

Offline
Well, I've had a bunch of stuff happen this week, that slowly whittled all my tax incentive check down to nothing.

Tree limb fell on the back of my Acura, and broke the rear spoiler. TV died yesterday. Julie had to get a tooth pulled.

Oh, well. I still managed to get a small order of MG parts in. Originally was going to get nearly all the interior parts and ~almost~ all the parts I needed to get the MGB back into great shape.

Went thismorning to find a replacement for my 12 year old RCA 27 inch tube TV. Apparently Tube TV's aren't being made much anymore (the ones I did see were very bad quality, no-name brand things with horrible picture quality). So we found a clearance item at Circuit City. A JVC 32 inch widescreen 1080i hd lcd tv. $499. It's pretty nice, but it doesn't fit in the entertainment cabinet... :wall: Oh, well. Just spent the last hour getting the image adjusted the way I want it.

Man, Kenny, you & me for bad weeks!!

ditto. Must be somethin' in th' water.

Kinda sounds like my last year. :cryin:

...and I have two fairly large, like-new tube-screen sets I can't give away. The funny thing is, a new 32" widescreen in 4:3 mode has the same size screen as a 27" one (or at least pretty close)
