If you are under age 60, these pictures won't mean anything to you.

If you are over age 60, these pictures will mean EVERYTHING to you.

Days Gone By..........

Note: There are 300+ pages of them.

Pretty neat web site too.

My Dad gave me his old color slides from the '40's,'50's,
'60's +.Made me think on how much more simple life was back
then.

"Thank You For The Memories"! Yes it was a much simpler life back then. No TV, no computers! People actually went on family picnics, went to the movies once a month and enjoyed life much more, especially after the war was over. Before I got in high school, I walked 1 1/2 miles to school, summer and winter and we didn't think anything about it, it was a way of life. If you lived 2 miles or further, you got to ride a bus. The school teachers were boss, not the kids or their parents! If you did something wrong, a yard stick or paddle was always handy. If you went home and complained, you usually got another butt warming there. Kids today are too over protected and don't get that, what a shame. Ok, I'm drifting off into no no land. Thanks again for the pics. Many nice memories came back. PJ
