So with a new charge I was able to return to the motel and plan the strategy for the return trip the next morning.

Next year the Glen will feature Morgan sports cars - so in a way it will be another Triumph event - at least many of the engines.

Cheers, Frank

Hi Frank, and thanks for the great report and the super photos. It's been years since I was at Watkins Glen, but we used to go up often to watch Formula One when we were kids. It was just over the border for us, and I spent a few rainy times there. I am really sorry I missed this event and wish I had stayed a week longer visiting in PA. I could have made that trip up.

Sorry to hear about your car troubles. My mechanic from Bloomsburg was there. He might have found a part for you!

Good shots Frank. glad to get to meet you. More pics from Watkins in the pub! check 'em out! glad to hear that you were able to keep the Battery Juiced! I saw 'em pop-start ya at the track.

I got you at the warplane (see the pub thread) and I got a few pics on the track, but they were just of whoever was within a few carlengths of us. I was more intrested in hanging on and getting any pics! hehehehehe

Pretty sure I'm repeating myself here, but if any of you are interested in another vintage event, we have one with VRG coming up at New Jersey Motorsports Park (about 30 minutes south of Atlantic City) on September 19th - 21st.

It's called the "Thunderbolt Hisotorics" and will also feature a vintage airshow. #909 Spridget will be there.

This is a regular spector event (I'm not sure of ticket prices...check the NJMP website). They have camping available at the track.
More info ~HERE~

Also, we'll be at Watkins Glen on October 17th - 19th for a vintage event. This is a non-spector event, but we can probably list you as "crew" (as long as there's not 100 of you! ).

Here's ~My Pictures~ of VRG Glen event in '07.
