Almost 1 year off and on work to get it ready with advice from this group. Car had 22 year-old major hail damage when I bought it.

Looks great! Lots of fun ahead, right?

Yeah, "some assembly required" Actually, i think it's kinda the fun part-- cleaning and fixing and lubing things as you put them back on and making them better if possible (or easier to get apart again the next time). I ordered a bunch of new gaskets, fasteners, trim pieces, etc. I just need to be patient and not scratch things along the way! Hard just to not wash and wax it! I'll be driving it as soon as I get the lights working-- too nice not to be out an' about.

Jh,
It looks great. The next part is definitely the most fun. New bits make it a lot easier, even if minor fitting is required.
Congratulations,
D

Congratulations jayhawk. Few things in life can make a man happier than bringing a car back, all the way back. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
