Nice to see that sling in the trash. You might want to change out those sheet metal screws by the accelerator pedal before you put the motor in. You don't want to stab yourself in the foot while driving.

Those screws are like a NOS button. Once my ankle hits them, I'll be pushing the throttle pedal through the firewall!

You could get the same thing wiring the ignition coil to the seat. Just less band aids later on.

Hey Rick,

REALLY glad to see you out in the garage again !

You could do what I did in the footbox.

I moved clutch and brake pedals to the left, bolted them together
into one wide brake pedal, and put in an automatic transmission.

I also installed a BIG go-fast, pull-the-cable, accelerator.
That cable pedal is just the ticket for my 4 SU intake.

keoke, thanks!, yup no more "swimmin" for me this summer or ever again in that pool, as id told the owner years ago "the citys gunna want ya to fill that thing in" and they did a couple of moths ago, but by the end of last summer id taken out every last piece of the 100m., the engine, me on right my britt. bud richard on left, that trick was fun, lifting securing chain then lift again etc, lower left you can see the block corner of the pool/icehouse with a small yellow tool box sitting on top, thats the area we pulled out the engine, 14 feet deep. :savewave:

yup! at first the new owner of the house a friend of mine asked me to come over and look at what he thought was an old swimming pool, but i explained to him it was an old community ice house, there within i found a hacked up bn2 and a 100m that was dismantled, along with a bunch of other cars including a couple of english taxi cabs, former owner of the property owned a body shop, musta had somthing against british cars? hres a pict. of the frame, got the heritage cert. it turns out to be a true factory 100m, not dealer installed equipment.

Tim,

I think bolting my pedals together like that is really going to make declutching difficult :wall: Can't wait for you to fire up your SUs. Gotta admit, you've found out how to do a four-barrel carb ... the hard way.
