B Project Update

Jerry Rosa - looks like you're gonna have yours on the road before I will! But I'm getting close...

The long Memorial Day weekend gave me an opportunity to make some progress. Finally got the tach wiring issue straightened out, the gauges are all working, heater cables are run, and the dash is in. I moved on to installing the carpet set, and it actually looks pretty good. Installed a Sony radio/CD in the console, and was surprised at how well it fit. Have all interior panels in except for the doors, and the seats are next to go in.

Not much more left to do, but it will have to wait until after the Louisville show this weekend. Thanks to all on the Forum who have assisted with this so far. I'm sure there'll be more questions.

Re: B Project Update

Wow, Mickey,..that's great news!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You've been working so hard on it,..I can't wait to see the finished car!
I love the color you went with, Black Tulip was one of the colors I'd considered.

I wish that I'd had more skill going through this, and been able to do more of my own work.

I will never tell what it cost me to do mine. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

LOL

Anyway,..please post a pic or two when you have time.

Congratulations on great timing /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: B Project Update

Aloha Mickey,

Sounds like there can't be much more to do. Great to hear you're almost done. It is nice to know that there is at least one other conflicted LBC guy out there with a MG and a Triumph.

Safety Fast,
Dave

Re: B Project Update

Conflicted I am. The B will be more of a driver, as it has overdrive and is a bit more comfortable than the TR3. That is, when the wife will let me drive it! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Re: B Project Update

I don't see the confliction with having an MG and a Triumph... or LBCs from multiple different maanufacturers for that matter... Is the rivalry between MG and Triumph owners to the same degree as the rivalry between GM ... errr ... Chevrolet and Ford owners?

had to correct myself to Chevrolet as I've never personally seen someone with a GM/GMC badged car act viciously brand loyal, but I've seen plenty of Chevrolet loyalists despite all the parts saying GM...
