Do the posts go on the car first then the windshield or everything together. Posted polished or painted? Thanks.

On my Spridget it all went on at the same time. BE's may be different.

Mine went on all together. And mine posts are painted body color, but then again, it is a nine stud windscreen.

According to Horler's book, the pillars were body color until car #5477. After that they were unpainted alloy.

I'll check the number but body color isn't an option. Thanks guys.

I put one post on--screwed it down--put the windshield on, screwed it on, etc. Made it easier to handle without scratching the paint. I was by myself though. Charlie
