Does anyone know where you can purchase a "cockpit cover" in Ontario or for that matter by ordering on line?

Thanks,
Al

Look online for companies than sell covercraft cockpit covers, and look for the "weathershield" version if you want one that will absolutely hold out water (it looks and feels like soft nylon but doesn't let water in). A cover for a Miata will fit pretty well too.

This is my Covercraft non-waterproof Miata cover on my '77 MGB:

Thanks. I will look around for that.

These look very interesting...Anyone know if there is one that would fit a spridget? I checked the covercraft website but they only had full car covers...

That's the picture I had seen several months ago. Thank you very much for replying. Your work is lookingh great. Can't wait to see the finished product. Very very nice so far.

yeah, what Steve_S said! My B isn't "pristine" as of yet, but it would be one heck of a convenience if I could put that on instead of raising the top when I get to work. That is assuming it goes on and off the car quicker than raising and lowering the hood "properly". It'd be even better if I could wash the car with it on and reach the spots that the hood cover/hood normally cover. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

would these fit over a roll bar on a midget? if so I think I should get one.

Hi Al,...Thanks /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
The work is all done,..I'll post some pics soon.
I lent my cam to my sister for her vacation,..I'll have it back this week /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Steve S and Nunyas,..the cover works like a dream,.fastens tight with bungees to the wheels,..mine has sat through 3 nasty thunderstorms and the interior stayed bone dry.

It takes all of 10 seconds to put on,..I love it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Cheers!

they are totally waterproof I have had one now for 2 + years and its a lot more convienient than putting up the top and if it gets rained on water does not puddle as it does on the tonneau

I'm sold too. I haven't invested in a top yet (except the hardtop), and the tonneau I've been using doesn't fit right yet. I'll look into getting one of these soon!

Are they completely waterproof? Can you put a hose on it and still keep water out?

The "weathershield" ones are waterproof to the point that you can hold the corners and fill it with water and it won't leak (for weeks - don't ask). Better still, when they're new water simply will not stick to them, they're light as thin nylon coat, and will fold up to fit inside a large zip-lock bag.

oh man, i definitely gotta get me one of these things now! When I don't need it to protect the car's interior i can use it to make a wading pool! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
