As some of you know, I and another fella, (the Chief Pilot ) flew this B-25 for RCA as a flying test bed for experimental military flight electronics. Then after setting many years, it was sold to the American Air Museum in Duxford Uk where it was restored to its former glory as "LIL" Critter! It is now in airworthy condition and before hanging it under the ceiling in the museum I was told it was flown to a couple of air shows. The first pic is the tattered colors after we had her and she sat for about 5 years or so. the second pic is after Duxford restored her. Flying her was an experience I'll never forget. The noise was so loud we had to wear earplugs under our headsets! Loved that old bird! PJ :thumbsup2:
