Anyone know if the MGC and MGB axle flanges are the same? I have a C axle and want to swap it into my V8 MGB, but need to know if I will have to change the rear flange on my driveshaft to mate up or if I can swap out the MGC flange on the axle for an MGB one.

I think that, with the exception of the 3rd member & hubs, the MGB & MGC rear axles are the same....driveshafts are different though
 
No, flanges are the same - the metal of the tube was thicker.
