I tried to remove my front driver side hub today. It seems stuck although I see no rust. I removed the cotter pin, the nut and the washer and the caliper. am I missing something or is it common for these to seize. I thought about using a gear puller, but I don't want to force it if there is another fastener or something.

Sometimes, the hubs are a little stubbron and need to be coaxed off a fraction of an inch at a time. If you look at the inside of the hub and it is greasy and not burnt and dry, then, everything is just a good fit and you need to encourage the removal a bit. My encouragement, generally, comes from a lead hammer that have for my knock off wheels, because it doesn't damage the things I hit with it as much as a steel hammer might ding things up.......

yes, common for them to be stubborn. had the same problem about a month ago. keep at'm. they'll come off.
