Hello everyone,
I'm hoping someone can give me the answer to this question without disassembling anything. I've just installed my front shroud and bolted up the wings prior to paint. Ive installed the screws and nuts that pick up the front bracket near the radiator. I realized I never looked at the type of fastener that is supposed to go on the rear of the bonnet opening. From photos I can tell they are 5 phillips type screws and countersunk, but I can't tell if they are machine thread or sheetmetal threaded. Does anyone know if there are captive nuts on the back side, on the top edge of the scuttle/firewall. I never looked. I really, really, don't want to pull the shroud off again.
P.S. I didn't disassemble this car. Thanks for any help you can give.
Jon
