Availability of tyres

During the wheel cleaning exercise, I had to take a couple around to the local tyre shop to get the tyres changed around on the rims (the spare has 60 or more spokes and the 4 running wheels - 48 - got to get that sorted ) and the guy behind the counter advised me to get a new suite of tyres in the next year or so, as they were no longer going to be made. Then the only other source over here will be Vintage Tyres, and a set of tyres from them could then cost over ÂŁ1000. He says that already tyres for the Jag XK120 are no longer available.

OUCH :nopity:

Have you guys heard anything on your side of the pond.

Bob,

We are having the same problem here. 165/80/15 185/80/15 are in short supply. Kumho has been on back order for over a year.
