I received the sad news that the Morgan Hill Autumn Classic all British Car street show will be no more. Bill Mead did a fine job for, I think, 19 years or more. Great show and tour. The cost just got too great. I always looked forward to it as it was the season finally.

Not surprising, just looking at the turnout up here for the San Francisco Bay Area ALL British back in the summer. I don't think they had twenty cars show up and most were not British.
When I fist got my Jaguar, about six years ago, I went there and there were probably 500 cars and the only non- British were the new Minis and about 20 micros. Very sad and no way I can think of making it better, except better advertising since right now it's mostly word of mouth.

Yea, but I don't get the winner circle next year. I received the E-mail, too. We have gone for the last 7 years, rain or shine. This is a sad closing. Always enjoyed the show. And all the people who attend. That just leaves the Woodland All British Show. Very good show but in the open field where it can get very hot. No shops or restaurants for the wife.
