reid, 12 of the 15 healeys ive owned had a "jack bag", ive skimmed throught the publication mentioned and though it a very valuable tool for healey owners, however imho not all the information contained within is correct, for anyone interested <span style="font-weight: bold">check out "atlanta imported auto parts".</span> go to "tools" scan down.

Ahem. Check the Concours Originality Guidelines - a copy of which should be in every Healey owner's reference set, whether the owner of a "concours car" or not - and you'll find that the Guidelines state, "The tool bag was a simple envelope made of black plastic, with seams heat-pressed together and with two straps heat-riveted to the bag."

Roger Moment rmoment@comcast.net may be able to advise where to buy correct ones. If I still needed one, that's where I begin to source one.

The Concours Committee will be delighted to make corrections to the Originality Guidelines. The Guidelines are updated every year. If you know of errors, PLEASE report them.

Just because some vendor sells something does not make it original. The Concours Committee has been studying and documenting originality for two decades, and with no conflicts of interest. No other source comes anywhere close as a reference on what was original.

There was no jack bag for the 3000. Atlanta Imported Auto Parts has combined two parts drawings and shows the 3000 tool kit and bag (and jack strap) and for some odd reason they have added a drawing below that of the earlier jack for the 100 along with its bag and jack handle bag. I can see where you would get the wrong impression, but I assure you that it is completely deceptive and you will not find those two drawings together in any BMC Parts List.

Their "221-230 BAG, JACK STOWAGE" listed as applying to BN4 through BJ8 is a complete fiction.
