Austin Healey Chasis/Frame for 1962

I recently purchased a 1962 Austin Healey Sprite in various parts and state of repair. I am confused regarding what chasis and body parts to buy to restore the vehicle. The ID number is HAN6L-13767. By my research it is an early 1962 model. The chasis in my garage resembles that of a Frogeye in that it has LH & RH floor pans, frame strengthners and other items that I can't find in parts catalogs showing a 1962 AH Sprite. I would like to know if in 1961-1972 there are cross-over models that contain components of the Frogeye and more conventional square body Sprites so I feel more confident in ordeering the right parts. Thanks for any assistance you can provide me.

You really need to join the Austin-Healey Club of America, Southeast Michigan (Detroit area), as there is quite a local knowledge base for you to tap into.

I'm sure that with very little coaxing (like say, a beer) you could get some local experts to look at your car in person, and render a judgement.

The 1958-64 Sprite and Midget with 1/4 elliptic rear springs all share the same sheetmetal structural parts. So bulkhead, shut panel, frame reinforcement, brackets, base plates, etc will fit the Bugeye and yours. Floorpans, sill panels door posts and other parts are common for most all years thru 1974. Between Moss and British Victoria all of the pieces are avalable in the US.
