Austin America advice

Guys, help.... I just bought a Austin America project. I am hoping that there are a few BCF members that have experience with these cars.

I am having problems understanding how to install the tapered brake pads in the calipers. I must be missing something. Is there a special technique? I haven’t seen a set up like this before.

i would really appreciate any suggestions or advice.
