Austin 7 differential photos?

Quite possibly. I'm in my office now, so removed from my library where I have a number of Austin 7 publications. I'll look for you and see if I can copy something - I seem to remember a drawing.
May I, out of curiosity, ask why? Do you have an A7?

Roger, I would really appreciate that.

Sadly, no - I don't have a 7. I'm working on an article about microcar powertrains and a knowledgeable acquaintance recently mentioned that at least some of the diffs involved appeared to be based on the Austin.

Well, the A7 diff was an extraordinarily heavy device, considering the 10 to 20 bhp it had to deal with! They were practically unburstable, too.
Maybe that's why A7 rear axles were used in so many specials with much bigger engines than A7s!
I'll try to dig something out tonight.

John, a buddy here seems to think he may have some Austin Seven literature that I may be able to borrow and scan.
I'll let you know when I find out for sure.

A7 Diff drawings
I have attached drawings of two kinds, though the actual diff mechanisms are similar in both. I hope these are what you need!

Roger - that's exactly what I needed. Thank you! The overall design is what I hoped we'd see. I'm impressed by the layout - very compact and apparently very strong. This is a big help.

Jeff - looks like I'm all set here - thanks for your offer.
