2 important things happened today in history:

August 16, 1977...Elvis died

August 16, 1969...Jerri & I got married!

Yep, 38 years ago today! And I'm sitting in a hotel room in Watertown, NY & she's at home in Alabama.....I've got a beach house rented for a week in October to make it up to her...what she doesn't know is that our daughter, son-in-law & grandson are gonna come down & spend a long weekend with us during that week....she was/is an Army wife so she rolls with things like this!

Congrats. I just got back & this is the first post I opened. Coincidentally today is my 17th with Jeani. Too bad you are not home with the Mrs. That's a bummer. You'll be home soon though.
