Attorney?

You won't need one, I'll buy it and get the lawyer!!!!

*swoon!*

When I was looking at my car, and asked my wife, she said "People with mortgages can't afford race cars!"

A month or so later, I again broach the subject. Her retort: "People with mortgages can't afford race cars."

Then another month or so later, she comes to me with a plan to take a high end cruise: I reply: "People with mortgages can't afford cruises!"

"O.K., you can buy the car", she says.

It cost me a cruise, but that's a lot less than the alimony payments I was figuring. :smile-new:

Along the lines of the above, Early on in my marriage motorcycles were our common passion. We both had Harley Davidsons at the time and after a while upgrading and customization became a common activity. After the Harley phase came Ducati and then Lotus. Actually Ducati and Lotus are still a common interest, generally speaking.
The one important "lifes lesson" that came out of these hobbies was that I could do whatever I liked to my hobby of the moment, as long as she could do something of equal or greater value with hers. At times that prioncipal could be costly but in the long run it actually worked out rather well overall.
Results may vary.
