It seems that both you and I have achieved that magical posting mark of 800 posts and have been "Knighted". I tend to post by the seat of my pants (usually underpants in the early morning) and you write well-thought-out encyclopedic responses that are informative and quite accurate. I have to inform you that I usually read your posts first and then plagarize them for a whimsical twist on the subject. James Frey would be proud. What's next after knighthood?

Slaying Dragons is the traditional job description I think.

You can be Don Quijote and I will be Sancho Panza. But who gets the women?

Well, there's Jaybird hereabouts....

And it seems a lot of knights left home to go crusading, questing after grails and anything but stay at home with the missus or wimmin....

Me, I just go hide in the garage and tinker a bit... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

Ain't it sad. I do appreciate the few ladies that participate on the Forum (even Jaybird) but it is not easy having to justify everything (I don't) to the missus when she really doesn't give a flip about what I do out there in the garage. I remember an old girlfriend of yore that could sling a shifting spanner with the best of em (we're talking 35 years ago). Those were the days. I think she ran off with a flyboy when I told her I wasn't interested in marriage. Why am I ruminating here? My Community Coffee Dark Roast was too strong this morning.

Ah, regrets and women - kind of go hand-in-hand. I'm sure most of us have stories we could tell. I remember a couple myself that looking back I probably shouldn't have let slip from my life - but I consider myself to be very blessed with the one I did hold onto!

Mine also regularly reminds of my similar good fortune. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif
