As promised, Progress pic

She will have tags and insurance 1 June then we going to let her stretch her legs. She's been beging to get out and really run and now has about 95 local miles, all under 30 but as high as 4K. It's time.

No leaks, no sticks, no sparks, etc etc. Oh, you are never quite done in reality. It is just that no one but you and I know or can tell anymore.

I think I need some of those big round driveing lights on the front, what ya say?
Wife is now watching the paper for trailers. hehe.

Gaaack! Miss Agatha as a trailer-queen /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif !! Rough image! (only kidding /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif )

If you're *serious* about mounting more lights, a good way is to put a set of Cibie Oscars inside the grill. No cutting the grill, just fabricate mounts inside. I did that on the Elan S3 with no holes in the body to worry about, hidden from casual view (especially when the covers are on 'em: painted flat black), and a GREAT improvement for night driving. The grill on Agatha may chop a BIT of the output, but not so much you'd notice.

Oh no! Please say she won't be trailer queen! I've put 15K miles on my B since I "finished" my my resto last summer! Now the fun is keeping it clean and beautiful, but the real fun is in driving.

I think Jack just wants a trailer for long hauls.

True! I've heard BE's can get tiring on the Highway.

A buddy of mine who has one up here usually doesn't take his on very long trips. Actually, I'm going over to his house this afternoon, to take a closer look at his now that I have mine and hopefully, take his for a spin. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Yep, long hauls only. Seems that all the shows and such are in the summer hours and hours away. Soo. Also the Lake of the Ozarks is a two day drive and the wife and I insist on Air condetioning in the summer.

Not only that but we have hurricans down here and I could put her behind the truck and go.

Was kind of thinking about lights out front, you know the fancy ones, round and rather large.

just one word.....Generator......

Oh heck Lee, I wasn't planning on hooking em up, she will never be driven at nite.

Jack, I am confused /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif but you know it doesn't take much

John, hopefully you can get a ride /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif

Pat

hahahahaha.......I hear ya..

Jack, night driving is half the fun. Doesn't it get hot on some of your days and the evening is the most enjoyable time of the day. I think one of the prettiest sights is to be sitting in a Bugeye watching a sunrise or sunset on the bonnet. Can't wait till next summer and the big meet at the lake.

The real reason Kay wants a trailer is so that Jack can go get another car for her! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
Jeff

I think you are right Jeff!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/lol.gif

C'mon Jack, you have almost a whole year to get the second one done and you can show up for the anniversary bash with his and hers!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Boy. You guys are bad, you want me to work so hard.

Line on a trailer place just up the road about 50 miles. They got em or will build em. Looks like a bugeye trailer will run about a grand. That's with a 3500 lb axle and a 6X12 deck.

Jack, you could also buy yourself a generic trailer from, say Leonard, and then bolt on or weld on a couple of channels exactly the right width for the wheels, could easily cost you less than $1000.
