I did all four brakes on the Hyundai Santa Fe yesterday and today. All was going well, until I got to the right rear brake (today). I had to replace the rotor and wouldn't ya know it - it was stuck on like it was welded! After driving myself crazy beating on it, soaking the interface with the hub in generous amounts of WD-40, prying and a lot of cursing, I finally did what I should have done in the first place. I used the old Bolt and nut through the caliper mounting holes trick.
You put bolts through each of the caliper mounting holes (caliper has been removed at this point). Then screw nuts onto the bolts and hold the nut with a wrench, while using a socket wrench to tighten each bolt, a little at a time. As you screw the bolt, it screws into the nut and the end of the bolt starts pushing harder and harder on the back side of the rotor. You do both bolts a little each at a time, and then periodically turn the rotor so that you are pushing on different parts of the rotor with the bolt as you screw them in. Eventually - POP, the rotor breaks free of the hub, and viola, you can easily remove it!
