TR6 Article on TR6s

Each week our paper runs an article on some car line; sometimes current, sometimes classic. This past week they ran the attached one on TR6s. Not bad...but take issue with them calling the TR7's motor "buzzy." /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif

Don't know the def of "buzzy" but I always thought the GT6 I had sounded like a bumble bee at high rpm's. I bet the Sunbeam Tiger I passed one time has never forgot the sound.

I had the pleasure of flying in a North American P-51 Mustang with a Rolls Royce Merlin engine a few years ago. After that experience, all Triumph engines sound a little "buzzy" to me. <grin>

Bill, they published the story in the spring issue of the VTR. I have to admit I kind of set the guy up so things were to my advantage. OK, I really set him up! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

I haven't seen a tr7 in a very long time. I wouldn't mind having one buzz right by me...well, maybe one of these days.
