Arrived!!

Got up 7 Dec - Thursday - around 4am to get to airport & head to Korea...2 hours to Dallas-Ft Worth, 3 hour layover, 15 hour flight to Seoul, Korea (never got over water except to cross Bering Strait & dodge North Korea), 1-1/2 hour taxi ride & I got to hotel around 11pm on 9th...I have no idea what happened to the 8th!! Got about 5 hours of sleep before 9am meeting this morning...am relaxing right nowfor a few hours before I start teaching tonight from 6pm until 2am...man, Im getting too old for this "around the world" stuff!!

Good news is I'm having Jerri's Christmas gift made as we speak...there was a wool long double breasted overcoat she wanted at Talbot's but she didn't want to pay the $350 for it...so, I took her measurements & a photo of it to Mr. Kim (a tailor I use whenever I'm over here)...he's making it for her out of 100% Cashmere w/silk lining (we're talking 54" long coat, folks!!) for $120 & I pick it up Friday...she'll be excited come Christmas!!

Might not be a bad trip but a long one. I used to take trips to Buenos Aries when I was younger. Sometimes frightful, but always long.
