Thought some folks might find this interesting. A member of one of the BMW clubs that I belong to just bought an Atom and he is driving it across the US. Go here for some great photos/blogs:

There are few cars that I'd sell my MG to own, but the Atom is one of them. Awesome little ride.

And I thought 2500 miles in my MG TC was an adventure. That guy is gonna be sore in the morning! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Sucker goes like heck.

HEHEHE....

i would have to say that electric cars are going to have a market. 150 miles a charge and preformance at even twice those figures would make me a pretty smiling guy! i do on an average aboute 125 a week just going back and forth to work. I think i could live with that for a commuter.

Yeah, but there won't be much of a market until the prices come way down. The Tesla electric car is $100,000 for basically an electric Lotus Elise (that you can get for $45,000).

Great video.... that's the best I've seen Jeremy Clarkson look!

Anyone wanna buy a Ginetta??? She's got a new engine????? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif
