There are 12 volt coffee makers for RVs, they plug into an automotive 12 volt power plug. I had one. If you don't mind waiting 45 minutes to brew 2 cups of coffee, they work great .

Just get a jet boil and a French press... awesome cup of coffee, but don't knock the jet boil over or scald yourself with hot water in the process.

I had a 68 Bug convertible. The heater worked well on the highway, but in town, not so much.

I had to drive SWMBO's beetle to work several days one winter a few years ago. Had to carry a windshield scraper to periodically scrape the INSIDE of the windshield.

The Corvair was just as bad. Scraper also needed.
