Hi guys - I wanted to pass along an outstanding vendor experience I had yesterday with APT fast.
I drove out there to see them in Riverside CA to get some help on re-bushing the throttle shafts and it turns out it wasn’t necessary and the very minimal play was within tolerance (I was being hyper critical of the play since I didn’t want any idle issues or air leaks). Phil took the time to not only check everything, but took my master rebuild kit they sold me, exchanged it for a service kit and refund me the difference. He then took his the time to help me fix the throttle shaft screw opened where I had to drill out the old screw since it was totally mangled.
They couldn't have been any more helpful or eager to see me get a good result from the rebuild. If you are going to be rebuilding your carbs, specially SUs, and want to deal with someone who really gets it give them a ring.
