Yes, that's "RBCD" as in Rolling British Car Day!

San Diego's 10th annual Rolling British Car Day is scheduled for Sunday, April 17. The parade of cars will gather at the Krispy Kreme Donut parking lot at 4180 Clairemont Mesa Blvd. at 10 a.m., leaving around 10:30 a.m. For details, see the website at www.sandiegobritishcarday.org

With the promise of traveling some interesting San Diego roads and scenery, they're hoping for 150 cars to take part in the ride this year, with lunch at Buca di Beppo in Mira Mesa afterwards.

Come and join in the fun - it's always a great sight to see our beautiful cars in motion!

Sorry...cannot not make it...I will be showing my car at the City of Orange Car Show that Sunday...down around the circle...

My current plan is to meet in Mission Viejo (Mervyn's/Denny's/DelTaco parking lot off the 5 at Alicia) like last year, head down to S.D. and have breakfast before the drive.

I figure on hitting Mission Viejo at about 07:30 gives enough time for driving down, figuring out where the start is, getting fed and joining the crowd.

Anybody want to caravan?

Just got back from a 2 week class in Sacramento and fired up the TR today. It's been running great for months, but of course this morning it has developed a rattle in the water pump or generator. If I can sort it out, I'll be there. I can't figure this car out. It runs great, day in and day out, but when a planned event comes up IT'S ALWAYS SOMETHING. I missed our club's New Years drive because of a bad voltage regulator. It's ran great since. WHY????

I posted this and sent a few PMs, but I am meeting a few other people in British cars between 7:30 and 8:00am at the Denny’s restaurant at the 5 Freeway and Sand Canyon in Irvine. Everyone is invited. Bring your two-way radio if you like - Iā€˜ll have mine on channel 14, sub channel 6. We plan on rolling out at 8:30 for a caravan to the event:
