Apple 4s WHOOPS

Anybody ever take one of these apart
My daughter dropped and obliterated the screen recently
Ordered a new screen and tools and sat at the kitchen table to fix it.
Well, it didn't end well.
The digitizer ribbon didn't quite reach.
I kept saying ...better take it apart again...better take it apart......
OOPS.
Broke the ribbon
You know what? The screen doesn't work if that ribbon is broken
Oh well, off to a local repair person as she is off to Orlando and needs a phone

She was pi$$ed and I felt really bad

I fixed my Samsung Galaxy screen. Found a video on Youtube on how to disassemble it. An 18,000lb truck drove over mine. New screen and all was good.

There has to be gobs of how-to's for the Iphone.
 
I've check the Galaxy before.
It's a piece of cake compared to the iPhone
Watch 4 vids before I started
Them some of the littlest screws I have ever seen

Why? I bet you paid for it to begin with.... Hmmmm, she thinks she has it bad? Give her the bill for her schoolin' next time you see her and if she still thinks she has it bad...she can spend a week with my old man... I'll swap wit'ter ~ANY~ time she wants to...:wink:
 
Don't know anything about Apple 4s, but used to know a bit about the IIe.
