I've encountered a couple of these on Morgan +8's - but I can't figger from where MMC borrowed them. Rover? Sunbeam? Maybe a universal "english NAPA" bit from the local parts supplier?

If you look close, you can see amanual pull lever on the end of the valve...

Have ya looked at old Rollies yet Eric?

Whot Whot?! and be caught under the Bonnett, dirtying my manicure, just to turn on the heat in my Rolls? How scandelous! My cheauffer assures me there is a knob on the instrument panal that accomplishes that without having to leave the cabin! Now, do you have any Grey Pupon?
hehehehehe.

I should have mentioned that this bit is 1970's vintage. Banjo is pro'lly on target with the blue-collar aspect of a Rolls application. (although, I wonder, how many "Rollers" drive themselves?)

I was thinking Roots group or one of those rudimentary Rover offroad contraptions.

Shame on you Doc for getting his hopes up! EVERYONE knows Rolls bonnets are locked at the factory and only authorized service centers have keys to open them!! How is the poor guy supposed to have a look without breaking the law!!

<This was a common "belief" back in the day....there were locks on the bonnets and urban legend had it that only a RR authorzed mechanic was allowed to have the key>

Is that "manual" control the ONLY control device on it? I swear I see a connector.

Just a push/pull knob and 4 hoses - 2 on one side, 1 on the other side, and a 4th on the end.
