Wedge Anyone out there in the TR8 market?

I would be all over it filling my garage with three 8s...

Hmmmmmmmm? 4900.00 + 1000.0 truck freight. 4 cars in a 2 car garage and wife parking on the street.

must get permission................

You can get a SMOG exemptions (not really an exception, but a sticker that says the car is OK if it has all the emissions controls that is it supposed to. SMOG is still required) for Carb'd TR8 BTW, mine has one.

How does one qualify for this "exemption" Tom? I owned a 1980 Chevy that didn't have CA emissions (ordinary carb instead of the ECU carb found on CA models) and it got tested on the dyno just like all the other cars (although perhaps it was a more lax standard).

Bi-annual smog inspection is one of the reasons I don't own a TR8.

Colorado is switching over to a emissions program almost identical to California. Nothing tested older than 1975. Luckily, since I have emissions exempt collector plates on my car already, they will grandfather in and will not require testing.
