Anyone looking for a project car?

It's "patina"... adds charm. A protective layer to prevent surface damage: Disturbing it diminishes the value.

~I~ pay attention when "Antiques Roadshow" comes on! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

Is the DPO Pedro selling yet another
"almost 100% restored" TR6??

d

No, Dale. You got that great deal.

This one specifically says 65% restored, not almost 100% like yours.

At least there are no snakes in it. If I were closer, I'ld buy it for that price.

Is that dust, or has it been sprayed with grey primer without any masking..... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/confused.gif

Not far from NY, go check it out. It looks like an abandoned project at a body shop that just wants some cash out of it. May be a great deal hiding there, maybe not. Only one way to know for sure.

That's true, you have me thinking now. It's only about 1.5 hours or so from here. I'll have to contact them, won't hurt to at least look at it... One of these days I'm going to have to find a larger garage...

agreed- abandoned by owner at body shop due
to lack of finances to proceed. Shop what
it gone and maybe a few bucks returned to them.

I can never figure out why someone with 0 feedback starts their eBay selling with a high dollar item like a car. Project though it is I certainly would shy away from it.

Sure is dusty though. Course if you tow it home with no cover most of the dust will end up on the road and on the cars behind you.

Someone sure enough needs that car!

Good luck whoever you are, Tinkerman

What's wrong with this at that price, mine had everything thrown inside the seat and trunk area (fenders and doors) and all the wiring in a paper bag. If you were going to redo this one you won't have far to go to tear it down and the motor could really be rebuilt.
