I put 'em in mine - no problems at all with installation, and the shifting is nice and tight.

I have set but chose not to install them. Heard a lot of negatives from some on the wedge list about increased vibrations through the shifter with these. I put new rubber pieces in, they tightened everything up nicely and have no bad vibrations. Th originals lasted for 20 some years so these should as well. I have the poly's in case that doesn't hold up though.

Strange - first I've heard of the vibrations, and mine is rock-solid. I really like the feel.

Those comments were from about a year before you acquired your wedge, don't know if they have come up recently. I always wondered if they would actually contribute a more "buzzy" feel or if it was someone being overly picky. The rubbers work fine though, they still have metal sleeves, or I used the sleeves from the poly set (can't remember) so they are still nice and tight.

I can see that the Hard ones would transfer a little vibration. That's what it does. The poly seems to be the best of both, Not as solid as the plastic but stronger than the rubber.

Love the poly, but I have only seen them in black. Just put a set on one of the TR7s today. Figured since I was doing the clutch, I might as well do the bushings, tranny mount and fluid at the same time. Bought them from Woody. I think they were around $30 for the set. I wouldn't know if they vibrate more than the rubber ones. I've only ever had cars with bad ones which were quickly replaced with new eurethane ones.

Before I find out I stuck my foot in mouth. Tom's photo was of nylon and not poly ,right?

I put those in mine, never had any trouble

Where did you source yours Shawn?

For the life of me, I can't recall. (?) It might have been Ebay, or I might have found them at Wedgeparts when he was still selling stuff. I see Moss only carries the Nylon or Poly now. The other set I have is the white nylon, not poly I guess.

Put them on my car and it was like installing a whole new transmission.
