would like to get a hold of some 2D AutoCAD drawings of the spridget chassis. Anyone ever make one?

I'd like to play with my roll bar design a little....

I made a 3D model of a bugeye but I lost it when my computer crashed /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cryin.gif

I used a raster image which I got here (web page) from which I traced and then made extrusions which I then made as intersections to get the compound curves of the car. It was still kinda rough but I was doing it just for the fun of it. Let me know if you come up with something.

a top and side image like that for a later model car would be perfect. I really just want to see the dash, rear deck etc so I can plan mounting points.

Worst case I'll take some shots of the car, trace some major lines off of it and then back everything up with a tape measure. Just more time consuming.....

Hey Rob, how are you coming along with this project? I am interested in creating a 3-D Midget model myself. Wanna team up?

Be a plumber and electrician.
Plastic pipe and grey electrical sweeps are cheap. Crazy glue or pvc dope. Sit in the car which is hard to do in a CAD drawing. Use the forms to do the actual bending....or maybe do a lightweight and paint all the plastic black metallic!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

cool site! I can probably pull some dimensions off that to start the drawing.

Morris - would love to team up on it, I'll send you a PM. Suddenly getting really busy at work though, may be a little while....
