Anyone have a picture of Clutch Slave Cylinder....

mounted onto the Datsun 5 speed Transmission. I'm using the slave and trans. from Rivergate with a 1275 engine.

Thanks....

Its very similar to the 1098-1275 slave but a little shorter. on the back end as part of the casting there is a block with the bleed scru and inlet fitting. The pushrod is threaded.

Look in a paper pictorial catalog, Bendix, Centric or whomever in the clutch slave section.

this is a discription of the oem Datsun/Nissan piece that came on those trans. "form Rivergate might have modifications for the Spridget throw out arm. And BTW there is three different bores availaible.

I don't have a pic, but as I recall it must be mounted upside down from the stock location. There are two drilled and tapped lugs on the bracket that lift it enough to have clearance in the upside down location. On my Speedwell oil pan there was an issue of contact at the left rear corner of the pan and I had to have the pan modded to clear. This won't be a problem with a stock pan.

Thanks all....be putting it on tonight. Just finished bleeding it.
