Anyone from La Porte, Indiana? Vintage photo ID

I just recently acquired an old postcard (ca. 1905 or thereabouts, I think), it has this bridge in it, I'm just merely curious as to whether the bridge still exists or not...

Mapquest is a wonderful thing! If you search on Stone Lake, LaPorte In. and then switch to the aerial view, you can see a short channel from Pine Lake to Stone Lake. AND if you look closely, there appears to still be a bridge on the southern end of the channel! Hard to be certain from the satellite image.

If you use Google Earth you can zoom in and get a good view of the bridge with 2 pictures also included. Coordinates 41 37' 02.63" N / 86 44' 12.50" W

This photo appears to be of the opposite side of the bridge. The waterway is much wider and the stones seem to be smaller. Bridge on Lakeshore

Looks like some trees have grown nearby since 1905 too!!!
