Cheap Italian

A little to scary for me /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nonono.gif

Go for it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif The Beta coupe is quite attractive actually...

"but runs rough with an electrical ghost."

Nothing we're not used to, should be easy. If it was a Delta, I'd buy.

Nothing inherently bad about Lancia BC's. Except mebbe the Italian rust-mite problem.

...but ALL Italian cars have it! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

They really are great cars when sorted properly. Next-best thing to an Alfa GTV. Quick and fun, but 'civilised' if you want to cruise long distances.

Doc, you find an HPE & I'm on the road! That was one of the "funest" cars I've ever owned - & quick, if you sneezed you'd better have your left turn signal on! I'm constantly scouring ads, ebay, & anything else looking for another.

But if I were interested in one I think it'd be better to pay a little more initially to get a decent-ish one, than to buy one as a "cheap" project and then spend lots more getting it to decent....

I think they're under-valued, basically....
