"When We Left Earth" ?

It's been going for a while now, not sure how many episodes. But it's really amazing to hear some of the stories right from the guys who DID the stuff. Very neat.

I'll bet that's a good show, Doc.

On a slightly different note, do you recall the "First Flights" show hosted by Neil Armstrong several years ago? Neil actually flew some of the historic aircraft on the show, including a 1909 Bleriot flyer, first craft to fly the English Channel. Great cinematography.

Absolutely wonderful show, hosted by the greatest pilot of all time, IMHO. And, he really seemed to be enjoying the whole shebang.

I wish I'd recorded it.

Sorry for the thread hijack, but it reminded me of Neil A., one of my fave heroes.

It was on my On Demand menu for a while, and I watched it all in one sitting. Very worthwhile program, and it has my favorite NASA employee of all time all over the later part of it.

I've watched a few of 'em Doc. Pretty good show, but I usually get out-voted as the girls think it boring.
