Anyone drive an LBC today?

I pushed a Herald out into the sun to install a new top. Then back in when it got dark. I did have my hand on the wheel, but somehow it's not the same...

Hey Doc,

I don`t believe anyone here has seen your Alfa. Why not post a pic or two for all of us to enjoy!!

Russ

Don't remember "Doc" ever posting a photo he took.

Rain here all day, so no "top down driving" but....Worked out some of the kinks in the electrical on the B, reinstalled bumpers, lights, mirrors, wipers...ooooh we are getting closer everyday to those "our 1st drive" pics!!! I really hope to get it out of the garage for Fall...nothing is better than a top down drive along Arkansas roads when the trees burst into flaming colors!!!!! I can't wait....until then, like Doc...it's the Alfa for me too!

Took Agatha and trash to the transfer station, followed by breakfast and then on to the coffee shop. Killed about 3 hours and then home to do all the things I should have done instead of tooling about.

Missed the bus this morning so did the "school run" in the Europa, and then off to work. Perfect weather here today too.

yup, drove. Nice day here in the tropics.
Hot at 91* on the back terrace.

Today I drove my Europa, that I've been rebuilding for 9 1/2 months, to get its State Inspection.
Now it's road-legal! Yippee!

Top down in my TR6... sunny and in the 80's.....aaaaah!!

Same here but in low 90's. Took the Mrs
out for a spin in our '69 TR6.

Took Agatha (My 100M) to the hair salon for my monthly snip then breakfast in town (Albuquerque) and home. Weather at house was 58 when I started and 70 when I returned. Albuquerque was about 10 degrees warmer, always is. Tomorrow we go for our first golf lesson. Agatha gets to look pretty in the parking lot and I get to play the fool. Should be interesting. Not that I'm prepared but I already loaded the clubs - passenger seat accomodates them nicely.

You can all stop laughing now!

I just finished over 1200 miles, mostly on Pennsylvania two-lane highways, in a 2009 Mini Cooper. It was a great road trip...

Now that's ok! Too hot for me. Miata, top up, a/c on full, whenever possible.
