I'm off boarding next week. Last minute - a friend is going to be in the country. Wondered how the snow was...

Should be AWESOME!!! Forecast is for a major storm this weekend with snowfall in the Wasatch measured in FEET!

I live just outside of Park City, and work in the city. We got some fresh snow this past weekend, and are due for another storm this weekend. It's been reasonably cold, so all the resorts are blowing snow as well. Slopes should be good. They'll be busy as well -- President's Day week is a busy week here.

I'm playing in the afternoons this weekend up at Deer Valley (3 - 6pm), so stop in if you're around. I'm guessing you'll be at a different resort, since Deer Valley doesn't allow boarders. Rip it up and have a good, safe trip.

I get my weeks confused some time... If you wind up with some time, get in touch and maybe we can connect.

Alana- The golf courses near you don't have enough elevation to board on?

Do they fit the carts with studded snow tires? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Hahahahaha! Snow tires! I can tell you this, no matter how cold, if the snow melts off, the Duffers are out there swinging away. Skiing and Golfing all in the same day! Only in Utah and Colorado!

You take the wheels off and call it a bobsled!

Real men up here golf with skis on...

I did the bobsled run in Park City the last time I was there. For roughly the first half I was sitting in the back thinking how lame it was.

On the second half, it got interesting fast. I wasn't quite so blase when I got off...

Forget golf - do the luge, that's a real mans sport!
