I was planning on going but right now there is no gas in this area at all and I siquoned all the gas from the midget to put in the wifes car and my motorbike just to have enough to get to work and back. I heard that Atlanta is out as well. This has been rough. Last week a vacation at Myrtle beach,SC and then trying to get gas to tow the camper home on Saturday and then I barely have enough gas to get home and the wifes car is on empty(naturally) and the midget is the only thing with any gas. Its insane.

Intresting, my vehicles are all full including my spare gas cans. That's what we do down here in the Hurricane belt. Stations have fuel as well.

Well, its something I didn't think about before leaving on vacation, filling all the vehicles up. I generally keep the truck filled and in the garage, but I was using it to tow the camper and just got back into town with it on 1/8 tank or so. I did find out that if I drive 55 down the hills and let the truck slow down to the minimum of 45 up the hills and average about 50mph, I can get 20mpg towing the camper. I won't be caught like this again. My gas can was empty as well, I had used it to fill the motorcycle up the week before as well as mow the grass. Its hard to predict that kind of thing. First we were delayed because of Hannah and then found out Ike was going the other way and not to worry about it, then the gas shot up in price and then there was none.

yes I am going up on friday, the gas prices are already starting to drop here in atlanta so that should be no problem. the weather looks like it is going to be perfect for the show and some nice mountain driving.

I'm planning on being there Saturday morning. Since Midgie's on the ground I think I can get her to where she can make the trip there and back again.

Oh man, is it this weekend? Darn!! Got some family stuff to take care of.....

Managed to find a line and get the wifes car filled up last night, so the pressure is off there. I draned all the gas from the midget for the motorbike and her car earlier, so I need to find some more gas and fill my can and put some in the midget before I move it. I don't think I have enough to risk driving it to a store even if the store has gas. Didn't see nothing but bags tied on the handles of every gas pump on the way to work this morning. This is crazy, will look for some gas this evening if I get out of here (work) at a decent hour.

Hopefully the mountains will have some gas flowing through the pumps by the weekend. There's still stations here North of Atlanta that have their pumps wrapped up. I'm sitting on about a 1/2 tank with Midgie right now. Letting the Wrangler sit this one out as long as I can.

Fuel now available down here on the North West Florida coast.

no trouble in the douglas and cobb west side of atlanta, and it looks like the weather is going to be perfect top down riding weather.

Kim, I think the dillard house is full but there are a lot of places to stay around there. I think ray had to make res. somewhere else also.

 Fell off that fence on the right side! Good deal.

I don't think you have to preregister for the show...hope not anyway.

Yeah, Dillard house is booked...I'm a couple blocks away at the H.I. Express.

Ray
