Any reports from MG2006 yet?

Offline
I was sitting here wondering why no new posts in this forum... then I remember MG2006 - DUH!

So any reports from someone there? Any pics?

A very successful meet so far...we had over 1100 MGs on the showfield today....with MANY rare and special cars...

Here's EX186...surrounded by two Sebring MGA's

Very cool! Someone please take a picture of all the cars there... It'd make a great album to puruse through over a couple hours.

Oh, and I don't see any BCF cards under those wipers /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nonono.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Janet and I just got back - MG's all over the Smokies! We spent a lot of time looking at properties for retirement, but managed to check out some lovely cars.

Had dinner with Janel and Chuck, along with some others. Also hooked up with one of my cohorts and his wife from the Nashville club for dinner another night. Also touched base with Chuck Cougill and his daughter.

Oh - and Binabox looks great "in person" - even without the whitewalls!

My goodness, binabox made it.

Chuck survived the ride down. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

From what I have seen Chuck is well able to take care of himself. LOL

Kenny,

There are a wack of pictures over on the MGExperience.

(Sorry Basil, but they are) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Not only did Binabox make it, she took second in class!

Kudos, Janel!

Oh my word, and no pics yet, sigh.

I'm here, just a bit road-beaten. Showering then coming back to stir things up!

Binabox performed perfectly. Not one problem other than olwhatshisname wanted to drive once in awhile. She took second in the Mark I class, 63-67 I believe. John Moore took 3rd in his class as well.

Was truly memorable. Drove over 1600+ miles, less than 1100 were going and coming. Did some fabulous roads, I whipped the Dragon's behind by the way.

Janel, what day were you on the Tail of the Dragon? I want to check the killboy site for proof.

Monday and Tuesday wiseguy.

By the way Trevor, looked all over for you later in the day on Friday at the show. Brian (da son) has a Midget, was a bit impressed with the supercharger in it, wanted to talk to you. Was good meeting you.

I fled the show at about 2 o'clock to go do some driving. We got about four hours of driving in before the torrential down pours.

Nice meeting you, I hope we'll see each other again at some regional event (we aren't that far apart). Have you ever gone to the show in Edinburg IN (SirBrit)?

Seems to me that show conflicts with something, when is it?

Come to our show in STL in September!

Safe and sound, great. Hows Bina feel about all the attention? No probs, just goes to show ya what a good car can do.
