Any Fellow Morris Minor Pickup Heads Around?

Hello,

I just started posting to this forum site and didn't know if there were any fellow "cow" lovers in here?

I am going to be starting a full restoration on our '60 P/U soon, and it's always good to find Morris people in the know!

Cheers! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

I'm pretty sure Tony wants one /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yep - I want a Morris pickup! Had sedans & convertibles - want a pickup...or possibly a sedan delivery

WELCOME!!

I don't have a pickup (yet) but my everyday car is a '61 Traveller. I have had 100+ cars and this is one of my favorites.

Very cool!

Hey Bruce, we actually bought this truck at the British Conclave in Arvada about three years ago. Great to have a fellow Morris head in Colorado!

This car is very rust free (some light stuff in the rear wheel wells, but overall very solid). It's currently fitted with a 1275 + a rib case trans, but we're thinking seriously about fitting a Toyota five speed conversion, as we actually use it to haul stuff around with and could use the overdrive, however everything else (minus the motor) will be 100% original. The darn thing does almost 65 up I-70 with this 1275 (they did some porting / top end modifications) and new SU's, as it just rev's like crazy. Fun stuff!

Travellers are awesome, I bet you love this time of year cruising around in her!

Cheers!

This red pickup was parked in my driveway a while back.

A friend of mine does Brit-car repair and he was converting it to front disk brakes (he came over to my house for a test run).
The owner is a guy who races in our club.

One of the occasional posters here at BCF is Joe Curto. I do not know Joe, but I've seen his Morris Minor van at Britfest...it's a real knockout.

He needs to show up more often.
