Any Advice on HF Blast Cabinet?

Does anyone have any experience using Harbor Freight's Blast Cabinet? As they like to say, the price is ridiculously low.

Bought one and am using it. Seems to do the job, but think I will get a foot pedal,

The gun is not very good. I bought a replacement that doubled the value of the unit. Original gun plugged up and or just did not throw enough media at the metal. The light is weak in the box. But remember, it really is just a box, very few parts and they can all be upgraded. So yes it is cheap.

I've got one; guess it was worth the money but not much more. I got the side door model and built a stand for it and added an interior light (just a cheap fluorescent fixture bolted to the top). The doors leak media and so far I've had to replace both gloves, the hoses and the blast gun. I have a lot of trouble with the media caking and not flowing down to the intake, which might be a combination of dirty media (although it was a problem from day one with fresh glass beads) and the slope of the floor not being steep enough.

I left mine outside under a tarp while the new garage got insulated and sheet-rocked and the paint peeled off on huge sheets. Works ok though. Tom

I have been using mine for about five years and very satisfied. I did replace the gun after a lot of work because the HF gun wore out.
